Thank you for considering your next family member from Hound Ears Bassets. We are located in the foothills of North Carolina between Boone NC and Wilkesboro NC. We raise AKC purebred basset hounds.
Cash only on pickup day of $825. Ready now for their new homes. We do have more available males and females, but site will only limit a few photos. Will be happy to send more photos of who we have upon request along with photos of both AKC parents.
Basset Hounds make the best family pet. They are great with children and adults laid back and have great temperaments.
Our puppies will be sold in AKC Limited Registration "PET ONLY" homes. We do not provide full registration.
Our puppies go to your home with a health guarantee, AKC limited registration application, current immunization record, 1st immunization shot, series of de-wormings, collar, and toys.
About the Basset Hound Breed: The Basset Hound holds the record for the world's longest dog ears! These low-to-the-ground pups were bred originally in France to be rabbit-hunting dogs, because of their incredible sense of smell (second only to the Bloodhound). In the home, Basset Hounds are gentle, patient pets that do very well with children and other animals. They are loveable, amusing, and naturally well-behaved, making them a perfect household pet. Because of their low centers of gravity and stocky bodies, Bassets have a medium-low energy level.
I have 36.5 years of experience with the basset hound breed and references upon request.
I am also a certified dog groomer; a member of the American Kennel Club (AKC) and a member of Continental Kennel Club (CKC).
